European School on Nuclear Materials Science 2022

The European School on Nuclear Materials Science 2022 is planned at the “Institut Scientifique de Cargèse” (IES Cargèse), Corsica, from November 7 to 11th, 2022. It will present the state of the art in nuclear materials science. The school will cover the challenging multi-scale modelling and characterization of materials phenomena in the nuclear materials science context. It will bring together world-leading scientists in topics ranging from advanced electronic structure theory to continuum modelling, as well as sophisticate experimental characterization techniques to give the students the best possible toolbox for their future careers as nuclear materials scientists. All types of nuclear materials will be treated: structural (metallic and ceramics), functional and fuel materials.

This is the second instalment of the school, whose first edition was organized online from November 9th to 13th, 2020 by the INSPYRE, GEMMA, M4F and IL TROVATORE H2020 projects under the auspices of the JPNM.
